Smooth as a babys glass.....?

The more I cook, the more I want a ceramic/glass top stove. Why?

Duh, it's easier to clean! And who does ALL the cleaning??? *nod*

I'm wondering how a ceramic/glass top really compares to electric or gas? Even if gas is superior, is it THAT much superior, really? I'm this close to buying a house and the stove is definitely going to be something I want to personalize, so give it to me straight:

Does a cooking enthusiast really need a gas stove, or can she get away with a glass top?
